Yes. Telegram star payments are processed through Telegram's secure payment system,
which is backed by established payment providers. Your payment information is encrypted
and handled securely.
Telegram sets star prices differently for each country based on local currencies and
economic factors. Additionally, Apple Pay and Google Pay may add their own processing
fees on top of the base price.
We cannot control these pricing differences, so we've tried our best to match our gems
pricing to the different tiers and pricing of stars.
Most Telegram star payments are instant. Once you complete the star transfer to our
bot, your gems should appear within seconds.
If your card is being declined when trying to buy stars:
Try using the Telegram mobile app (iOS or Android) instead of desktop
Use Apple Pay (iOS) or Google Pay (Android) as an alternative payment method
Contact your bank to ensure international/digital payments are enabled
Try a different card if available
Alternatively, the gems page also offers a card gateway that does not go through
Telegram, and a crypto option that needs no card at all.
Once stars are transferred to our bot and gems are issued, the transaction is complete
and cannot be refunded.
This is the most common issue! Buying stars and transferring stars are two separate steps:
Step 1: Buy stars from Telegram's Premium Bot (you pay with a card, receive stars)
Step 2: Transfer those stars to our Payments Bot (you spend stars, receive gems)
To verify you completed the transfer:
Open Telegram
Go to Settings → My Stars
Check your transaction history for an outgoing star transfer to our Payments Bot
Go to Settings → My Stars
You should see stars going to our Payments Bot
I didn't transfer the stars! What do I do?
Go back to Step 1 at the top of this guide
You can skip buying more stars since you already have them
Just follow the steps to transfer your existing stars to our bot and receive gems
If you see the outgoing transfer in your history but still don't have gems after 5
minutes, use the support card below.
